Minimum width and spacing. DRC (Design Rule Check) measures every shape on a layer against the foundry's geometric rules. This metal layer breaks two of them, and you fix the geometry until it is clean:
- Minimum width, Wmin = 0.10. A wire's width is its thickness, the narrow dimension. A wire thinner than Wmin is a violation. Drag a wire's bottom edge to make it thicker.
- Minimum spacing, Smin = 0.10. Spacing is the gap between two separate shapes. A gap smaller than Smin is a violation. Drag a wire to move it and open the gap.
Each wire shows its thickness and each gap its size; a value at or above the minimum is legal (green), below it is a violation (red). Fix every violation, then Submit fixes. Dimensions in micrometres.
